I ran across Breeze at Crunch Fitness and began talking about weightlifting, which led to me bringing up the fact that my lower back would become fatigued while doing squats.. He invited me to his gym, Sweet Strength, to watch me and the rest is history.. Breeze is very knowledgeable and has many many many years of powerlifting and strength coaching under his belt. I recommend this place for so many reasons. Not only is it a place to work out, but it’s a haven. I hadn’t exercised in a long time due to medical conditions, and was nervous about starting back. I went to some other places doing research, before making my decision on where I wanted to go, and they didn’t seem to have much knowledge about exercise in relation to medical conditions and weren’t very personalized (unlike Sweet Strength). Because they’re personal/one-on-one sessions, there is no judgement, no need to feel self conscious. Linda is also a Life Coach, among many other helpful and wonderful things, so not only do I get exercise to keep my body in check, but I get someone to talk to, laugh with, and get advice from. My ‘Sweet Strength Story’. I found Linda that December because life wanted it that way! To make me a better me! From the first time I sat down in Linda’s office, I knew she was the right person to help me accomplish what I had set out to do. She was confident, passionate about her work and compassionate on the things women go through concerning their bodies and emotions! The goal was to be healthy: it meant LEARNING how to eat right, taking care of my body as it deserved to be treated . . . I lost 10 lbs. and have lost several inches in my arms, legs, waist and neck! Those numbers don’t do this journey justice! I have been eating the healthiest that I have ever ate my entire life. I have accomplished things that I never thought I would do again. I have now run in 3-5k’s and 1-Mudd Run! . . . it has been no easy journey – WE have managed as team! It’s amazing what can be done when you have the support of someone who simply just understands and is willing to work as hard as you do . . .
